of Tennessee is a trade association representing the interests
of Independent Insurance Agents throughout Tennessee. We
were founded in 1935 as the Tennessee Association of Mutual Insurance
Agents.

Agents members of PIA of Tennessee also are members of PIA National. PIA of Tennessee
is governed by a 13-member Board of
Directors. PIA of Tennessee utilizes
a very active, effective committee
structure to develop ideas, research issues, and implement new programs for
the benefit of the entire membership. PIA also has available to members various programs and services through its subsidiary, PIA Advantage Services Corporation. PIA Advantage offers professional liability, group insurance and other products used by agents, as well as products that agents can utilize for their clients, such as premium financing. Local
PIA chapters can be found in three locations across the state.
