New Employee Training
In partnership with MERG, PIA offers fundamental insurance education for new agency employees. The courses offer the same benefits as traditional classroom education, including reading material, relevant discussion, examinations, and class camaraderie that takes place over an easy-to-use computer network. Courses run six-to-eight weeks long, with a week-long introductory session for first-time users. Courses are New Employee Orientation for Agency Personnel, Delivering Quality Service to the Customer and Employer, Personal Lines Coverage Basics (12 hours C.E. credit) and Commercial Lines Coverage Basics (12 hours C.E. credit). Basic Flood Insurance Webinar
PIA of Tennessee is sponsoring a Basic Agent Flood Insurance Webinar on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 27 and 28. The webcasts will be conducted by the National Flood Insurance Program and participants must "attend" both session to complete all required topics as mandated by the Flood Insurance Reform Act (FIRA) of 2004.
The webinar will address basic flood insurance issues as well as some more advanced components. The registration fee is $40 per person.
